Call for venue candidacies

The committee of the geoENVia association invites interested institutions to submit a proposal for the organization of the Sixth European Conference on Geostatistics for Environmental Applications.
Outline
The conference must be held in Europe in the Fall of 2006 (November or October). The organizing committee will be constituted by a local organizing committee (chairman and secretary) and three members of the geoENVia committee.
The conference will last 2.5 or 3 days, with plenary sessions in the morning and two parallel sessions in the afternoon.
The conference will be preceded by an optional 2 days Workshop on geostatistical method for environmental applications.
Conditions for submission
Academic institutions, research organizations and governmental agencies can submit a proposal
A written proposal detailing:
- Name of the hosting institution and the members of the organizing
- Proposed dates
- Description of the facilities
- Names of potential sponsors
- Preliminary budget
